Enjoy a unique culinary experience at The Boundary Rooftop Restaurant with East London at your feet! This popular rooftop garden eatery boasts a distinct menu offering mouth-watering dishes and drinks: from chargrilled steaks and fish to a warming selection of cocktails. This popular and quirky restaurant in Shoreditch is a true gem to be discovered. Start with a delicious dinner and continue to enjoy your evening by the open-pit fireplace in their charming winter garden. One of our favourite dining spots, it is a place we keep coming back to for more!
2. A secret 'treat me' shopping spot

There is no better place for a winter 'treat-me' session or a last minute gift expedition than Carnaby Street - our favourite London’s shopping spot. If you are looking for a rejuvenating pampering experience we would highly recommend a visit to a cult beauty emporium - Cowshed - for a relaxing head massage. If you are on a shopping mission, Carnaby Street is your oyster. We often head over to AQ/AQ - one of many independent boutiques setting this fashion Mecca alight with its edgy and elegant occasion-wear. You might even find that perfect outfit for New Year's Eve here... One thing is for sure, you will not be leaving this shopping heaven empty handed!
3. A cultural affair
If you are looking for a good doze of inspiration this Christmas, we would recommend visiting at least one of London's amazing museums. From Tate Modern featuring the best of contemporary art to the world famous Victoria and Albert museum, housing the biggest collection of vintage jewellery.Our current favourite culture spot - National Gallery - is hosting a brilliant exhibition dedicated to the main influencer of Baroque painting - Michelangelo Merisi de Caravaggio. The exhibition reviews the art of the famous Italian painter, his pears and followers. Expect to be thrilled and inspired by stunningly realistic and theatrically dramatic portraits from Italian, Spanish, French, Flemish and Dutch artists. And if you would really like to feel the influence of Caravaggio on the style of painting of late 16th early 17th century, visit National Gallery's main rooms to explore high Renaissance and Mannerist art.
When at the gallery, don't forget to pop into their gorgeous shop, beautifully decorated for Christmas (we couldn't resist and bought a whole load of festive decorations). At National Gallery shop you can also find exclusive pieces Ottoman Hands has designed for the Caravaggio exhibition. From luxurious statement necklaces in Rubies, Onyx and Labradorite, to match rich colours of the paintings, to glittering rings in Black Crystals, there are plenty of pieces every art and jewellery lover will be swooning over.
4. Winter sports

Yes, there are many beautiful ice rinks in London this time of year, however, if you’re looking that magical experience, we would recommend to practice your Arabesques at the Tower of London Ice Rink. The enchanting setting and it's grand and dramatic history will truly sweep you off your feet. One of our must-go to places for great evening out is 100 Wardour St. Based right at the very heart of Soho, this is a place where you can let your hair down and let your feet do the talking! You can start the night by unwinding in the cosy lounge bar area and enjoying warming spirits and tasty evening snacks before making your way downstairs to the club, where you will be swaying all night long to the live music. Plan your visit on a Saturday to make the most of soul, funk, pop and dance performed by the best musicians in town.
