Fun and quirky, this exotic body art allows you to express your bohemian side and make a trendy statement at the same time, aka Rhinanna and Beyonce. So to introduce you to this oh-so trendy festival look we have asked Pavan Dhanjal of Pavan Henna Bar to give us a low down on how henna has taken festival fashion by storm…

Yesterday marked the start of a wonderful cultural event – Museums at Night, which celebrates brilliant heritage of not only our dazzling capital, but many cities and towns across the UK. For this event, museums, galleries and heritage sites are invited to throw open their doors after hours to allow culture buffs to soak up the atmosphere and discover historical treasures in new and unexpected ways (think a calligraphy workshop at National Gallery and much more). To celebrate Museum’s at Night we have picked three amazing historical and cultural hubs in London that have a special meaning to us. Each of these magnificent cultural treasuries is not only frequented by our team, but hosts an exclusive selection of Ottoman Hands jewellery designed and handmade specifically for them.

What’s on your April play-list?! Could it be the beautifully chilled track from The Weeknd, another musical gem or a secret guilty pleasure (yes, we too like Harry Style’s ‘Sign Of The Times’, but shh, it’s a secret). One of our current favourites has to be Lucy Mason’s amazing new EP ‘Going Home Broke’. It has everything one looks for in a great track: beautiful lyrics – poetical, yet so relatable, tranquillising music and Lucy’s ethereal vocals.
Lucy is a Sydney-born dream-pop singer song-writer, who has swapped the laid-back beauty of land-down-under for bustling creativity of London 5 years ago. Her debut single was released last year through Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing. The follow-up single ‘Feels Like Midnight’ has inspired the music world and earned Lucy a well-deserved spot on the up-and-coming-stars list.
We have caught-up up with Lucy to talk music, inspirations and, of course, jewellery.
With London Fashion week in full swing, we are embracing AW17-18 catwalk wonders and can’t help but get excited about all the gorgeous trends we will be taking for a spin this Spring/Summer.

With so much fashion inspiration flowing from London, New York, Paris and Milan, SS17 promises to be a truly exciting season. From summer’s new lace classic with a twist – crochet bottoms at Burberry – to floral bralets at Tory Burch, we can already picture ourselves sipping minty-fresh Mohitos at a bohemian beach bar in Mykonos. Just don’t forget to pack the accessories, as jewellery has shown bright on the catwalks this season too! We saw the resurgence of statement pendants at Balenciaga, Prada and Chanel, raw mineral gems at Givenchy, Christopher Kane and Stella MacCartney, ear-lobes full of wonders at Loewe, Proenza and Margiela and stunning structural cuffs at Courrèges and Louis Vuitton.
With gorgeous new season collections launching on our website, we couldn’t help but reminisce of how it all began six years ago at the heart of London’s iconic Notting Hill. To give you the full story of how, where and when, we have caught up with our creative director – Deniz Gurdal – to talk about the past, the present and, of course, the amazing future…
