Ottoman Hands is a British based, Turkish inspired jewellery brand established in 2010 by Deniz Gurdal. Working closely with local Turkish gem cutters and artisans, Deniz aims to create one of a kind pieces that exhibit modern design aesthetics, whilst remaining loyal to the beauty of ancient Ottoman jewellery making traditions.
Ottoman Hands began its days as a small, but beautiful stall in the world famous Portobello Market in London. The designs attracted crowds of tourists, fashionistas and celebrities alike with its dazzling gemstones and was quickly spotted by Topshop’s keen buyers. From that point onwards the designs grew in popularity and now, Ottoman Hands can be seen in some of the most revolutionary, stylish and luxurious shops all over the world. In department stores such as House of Fraser our signature styles combine both classic and contemporary designs. Ottoman Hands can also be found in trend-led fashion stores like Topshop; online at ASOS.com and Very Exclusive, to esteemed cultural establishments like The British Museum, The National Gallery and The V&A Museum.
Ottoman Hands has rapidly grown into a widely recognised and established brand. Spotted on countless singers, film and TV stars; our designs are featured regularly in style led magazines such as Vogue, Grazia, Look, Cosmopolitan and Stylist to name but a few. Whether you like to make a statement and stand out in the crowd, tease with a subtle hint of glamour or delve into the exotic traditions of an ancient world, Ottoman Hands will have a piece for everyone and every outfit.
