This International Women's Day, we've teamed up with MicroLoan Foundation to empower women in Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe to start their own small businesses. With a sustainable income, these women can lift themselves and their families out of extreme poverty, rewriting their future.
We're proud to be donating 10% of each online sale to support this inspiring mission. Together we can transform the lives of women like Evelesi (pictured below) and spark a change that echoes for generations.
When one woman thrives, a whole community can be positively impacted as each woman has an average of 4 dependent children. From a previous case study, Evelesi was born in Malawi into a life that lacked the basic necessities of food and clothes. With the help of the MicroLoan Foundation, she is now flourishing as a businesswoman with 3 successful businesses, transforming not only her life but her 12 dependents. You can read more stories of MicroLoan’s inspirational women here.
Ottoman Hands wants to see more success stories like Evelesi and to help break the cycle of intergenerational poverty.
Just £120 will provide a woman with the training, mentoring and loans she needs for a full year as an entrepreneur. The more sales we receive for the donation, the more women we can help.
Together, let’s help more women rewrite their futures and thrive in their communities.
Our International Women's Day donation campaign ends on Monday 8th March (midnight GMT).
